Three weeks ago, a neighbor claimed that pop star Justin Bieber spat in his face after an argument erupted over Bieber's reckless driving in their Los Angeles gated community. Now TMZ cites more people in the Calabasas residential area who are writing in with their own Bieber-is-a-horrible-neighbor stories.
Among the reports are that the 19-year-old was "riding a Segway and smoking a joint" with a friend (in front of neighborhood children) over the holiday weekend and that the Biebs has been a general menace to the community, guilty of hosting late-night parties, reckless driving and blocking driveways with friends' cars.
On Sunday, the Los Angeles police visited the singer's home after receiving two separate calls complaining of reckless driving, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Bieber's personal drama seemed to catch up to him when the singer was abruptly booed at the Billboard Music Awards on May 19. "Basically from my heart I really just want to say it really should be about the music. It should be about the craft that I'm making. This is not a gimmick, and I'm an artist, and I should be taken seriously," he said.
