Bye bye, Bieber.
Selena Gomez admitted she had been having a "good time" since she split with her boyfriend of two years just before the new year, and that comment has to sting since Justin just told Billboard magazine he was "not in the happiest place."
The 20-year-old actress has been looking sexier than ever and with a statement like that, she seems determined to send Bieber the message that she's totally over him. Gomez recently shared a photo of herself wearing a hat from the Biebs' hometown, which a source close to the former Disney star says was meant as the ultimate kiss-off.
“It means she’s done with that boy, bye-bye,” the friend told Hollywoodlife. “She’s thrown away a lot of his stuff, too, and she doesnt want it because he’s a liar and treated her badly. She is done and doesn’t want him anymore. She’s moving on.”
Gomez is hell bent on starting a new romantic chapter in her life, but the 18-year-old singer reportedly wants to rekindle their relationship. Bieber admitted his new song "Nothing Like Us" is about their split, and sources claim he's been trying to get Gomez to listen to it, but she's just ignoring him.
So what happened between the former pop power couple to make Gomez want to erase Bieber from her life? Neither has said what went down, but Bieber recently took the opportunity to try to clear up a few reports:
"There's so many rumors. People say I call Selena every day and she won't pick up the phone or I'm chasing her down, and these are all fake stories," he told Billboard, adding that he tries not to pay attention to gossip."I don't go on blogs or anything like that. I hear things. People tell me if something happens on the Internet. It gets back to me, definitely."
