Justin Timberlake And Mumford & Sons: Grammy-Winning Artists Collaborate For Coen Brothers Film

JT Makes Some 'Very Good Friends'

Justin Timberlake has made a new Grammy-winning friend.

Timberlake signed on for the upcoming Coen Brothers film, "Inside Llewyn Davis," and reportedly collaborated with Mumford & Sons frontman, Marcus Mumford, on the soundtrack for the movie.

"Ok I can tell you this. There's a Coen brothers film coming out soon that I was lucky enough to work with Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan," Timberlake told Capital FM. He also spoke about working with Mulligan's husband, Marcus Mumford. "Coincidentally I did work with Marcus Mumford on the soundtrack, so I became very good friends with them."

Timberlake has already had a busy year. After releasing his single "Suit & Tie," which features Jay-Z, the singer announced he will be going on tour with Jay this summer. Timberlake also performed at the Grammys, is set to host "SNL" on March 9, and will drop his new album, "The 20/20 Experience," on March 19.

"Inside Llewyn Davis" tells the story of a '60s folk singer named Llewyn Davis, played by Isaac. Mulligan joins as Davis' ex-girlfriend, and Timberlake portrays Mulligan's husband in the film.
