Kansas Election Results 2012 MAP: Presidential And House Winners (REAL-TIME DATA)

LOOK: Kansas Election Results MAP

This is where you'll find the Kansas election results for the 2012 presidential election as well as for the state's Senate race and House contests.

Kansas has six electoral votes. In 2008, GOP presidential candidate John McCain won the state with 56.8 percent of the vote.

This year, GOP candidate Mitt Romney had a comfortable lead in the polls in Kansas going into Election Day, and most prediction models, including HuffPost Pollster's estimate, predicted that the former Massachusetts governor would win the state. The state's representatives appeared likely to remain Republican as well.

The poll-watchers in Kansas planned to pay attention to down-ticket races, where Democrats hoped to make gains against the Republican-dominated legislature.
