While the internet continued to pick apart Kanye's video and celebs featured tried to figure out how to sue I walked away from the video with a great lesson in sexual education.

Kanye West may be one of the most controversial hip hop stars in the world. He has been to known to disrupt the internet, award shows(hello Taylor Swift) and telethons (hello George Bush) and has even created two of the Internet's favorite hashtags: #dropsmic and #kanyeshrug.

After creating such pivotal moments in pop culture Kanye shocked the world by proposing to and later marrying reality star icon, Kim Kardashian. Together, this controversial duo has been known to break records, video cameras, social media and this weekend the internet again (Kim K did it first might we add).

Over the last few weeks Kanye has been teasing the premiere of his highly anticipated "Famous" music video and over the weekend it was finally released. The video takes place solely in a bed with Kim and Kanye butt naked with several high profile celebrities including: George Bush, Anna Wintour, Donald Trump, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Taylor Swift, Ray J, Amber Rose, Caitylyn Jenner and Bill Cosby.

Initially I assumed that everyone who was in bed with Kim and Kanye (which were all wax figures according to Kanye) were people Kim and Kanye had made "famous" but when I realized exactly who was in the bed with the couple I realized the message had to be much deeper because Kanye would never make a video that would be that easy to figure out.

While the internet continued to pick apart Kanye's video and celebs featured tried to figure out how to sue I walked away from the video with a great lesson in sexual education.

As I watched the video and noticed Amber Rose and Ray J laying in the same bed as their former lovers I wondered how awkward it would be for a couple to lay in bed with their former sexual partners and suddenly it dawned on me, they do.

While American culture has glorified sexual promiscuity particularly for men, no one has ever thoroughly addressed the repercussions of a promiscuous lifestyle.

Rather you choose to admit it the moment you sleep with an individual is the moment the two of you become "one" and in an instant everything they carry internally (including STDs) now become a part of you.

Once you get out of the bed you take all of them with you and the moment you step in the bed with someone else the cycle begins all over again which is why transparency is so important.

Your sexual partners and even your spouse deserve to know every person you have slept with and vice versa. They should be able to determine if they are willing to take on you AND your past sexual partners or not. There is no such thing as "the past is the past" when you're having sex together. It is these tough conversations that will lead to the decrease of STDs and STIs.

So to everyone out there wondering how Kanye managed to fit so many people into his bed, my question to you is how do you manage to fit so many into yours and none of them know about each other?
