A Canadian model has accused Kanye West of cheating on pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian, telling Star magazine that she began an illicit relationship with the singer last year.
However, according to Gossip Cop, part-time model Leyla Ghobadi's allegations are completely unfounded. The celebrity website says Ghobadi is merely attempting to drum up publicity for herself.
Ghobadi, 24, told Star that she first had sex with West last July -- "hooking up," she says, after he invited her to his hotel room following an Atlantic City show.
"He told me…he wanted to ‘hook up,’ but I was concerned that he was seeing Kim Kardashian," Ghobadi told Star. "He told me that [his relationship with Kim] was for publicity and nothing serious."
Ghobadi claims she's slept with West again since then and says the singer has continued to contact her -- most recently last week.
Kimye has flatly denied the cheating rumors. A Kardashian rep told Gossip Cop that the allegations are absolutely "not true," while a rep for West said Ghobadi's claims are "totally without merit."
"It's a blatant attempt by a misguided individual who is clearly seeking publicity, and another in a series of malicious stories drummed up by non-credible 'news' sources. This is a sad attempt to hurt two people trying to live their lives," West's rep told ET Online.
This isn't the first time that Kimye has been hit with allegations of straying. In March, the National Enquirer alleged that Kardashian's pregnancy weight gain was leading West to cheat. Then in April, rumors began swirling that West was having an affair with Iggy Azalea.
Despite the many rumors, however, there has yet to be any conclusive evidence of West's infidelity.
