Kanye West Goes On Conspiracy-Laced Pro-Trump Rant On 'SNL' And Gets Booed

The incident, which occurred after the credits, was caught on camera by comedian Chris Rock.

Kanye West ended his appearance on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend with a pro-Donald Trump, anti-Democrat speech that drew boos from some audience members.

He launched into his rant after the standard credits, where the cast and crew stand together onstage. Comedian Chris Rock caught the moment on his phone and posted it to Instagram.

“The blacks want always Democrats,” West said, donning a “Make America Great Again” cap. “You know it’s like the plan they did, to take the fathers out the home and put them on welfare. Does anybody know about that? That’s a Democratic plan.”

West gets a few sparse claps then continues while the cast looks on behind him.

“There’s so many times I talk to a white person and they say, ‘How could you like Trump, he’s racist?’” West said. “Well, if I was concerned about racism, I would’ve moved out of America a long time ago.”

Some members of the audience booed, a few clapped, and Rock laughed, saying, “Oh, my God.”

West didn’t specifically address the rant on Twitter, but did say he “had so much fun on SNL” and that show creator Lorne Michaels wanted him to host “before the year is out.”

President Donald Trump responded to West’s appearance the way we’ve come to expect ― by attacking the show as “no longer funny” and praising West for wearing a MAGA hat.

West was a last-minute replacement for singer Ariana Grande, performing his songs “I Love It” and “We Got Love” for his appearance.
