Kanye West took a moment on Saturday to celebrate himself.
The 36-year-old rapper took to Twitter on Saturday morning to discuss his track "New Slaves," a song off of his latest album, "Yeezus." West dubbed a portion of the song "the best rap verse of all time." Lest fans underestimate the acclaim he was giving himself, West clarified, adding, "Of all time in the history of rap music, period."
The second verse to "New Slaves" begins, "I throw these Maybach keys / I wear my heart on my sleeve / I know that we the new slaves / I see the blood on the leaves / I see the blood on the leaves / I see the blood on the leaves / I know that we the new slaves / I see the blood on the leaves / They throwing hate at me / Want me to stay at ease / F--k you and your corporation / Y'all n----s can't control me / I know that we the new slaves / I know that we the new slaves."
I open the debate… The 2nd verse of New Slaves is the best rap verse of all time….meaning … OF ALL TIME IN THE HISTORY OF RAP MUSIC, PERIOD

West made headlines earlier this week when he got into a scuffle with a cameraman at Los Angeles International Airport. After the incident, rumors began swirling that West may face felony charges for reportedly attempting to rob the cameraman of his camera.
