VALENTINO EXPLOSION: Karen Elson, Carey Mulligan, Gummer Girls & More

Karen Elson may have thrown herself a divorce party, but the model and singer made no mention of her recent split with Jack White Monday night at the Junior Spring Benefit for the Lincoln Center Institute.

Elson appeared smiley and radiant throughout the night, where she performed a 30-minute set at the Valentino-sponsored party on the roof of the Gramercy Park Hotel.

The dinner and party benefitted the educational arm of Lincoln Center, a leader in arts and education that brings dance, music and theater into public school classrooms. Some of New York's brightest young acting talent threw their support behind the organization, with Carey Mulligan, Mamie Gummer, Lily Rabe, Zoe Kazan and Rightor Doyle chairing the event.

The Valentino-clad ladies all seem to have something big in the works: Gummer (who brought sister Grace along as her date) is busy planning her wedding next month to fellow actor Benjamin Walker; Mulligan was taking a night-off from "Through A Glass Darkly" and is prepping for her role as Daisy Buchanan in Baz Luhrman's "The Great Gatsby," which begins production next month; Rabe was fresh off her Best Actress nomination at Sunday's Tony Awards; and Kazan is in pre-production with boyfriend Paul Dano on their new feature film "He Loves Me," which she wrote and will star in under "Little Miss Sunshine" directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris.

As if that's not enough, the group of friends will all come together in Doyle's web series, "The Walker," which is currently in post-production. It's fitting, then, that they all have chosen to support the Lincoln Center Institute: in a way, keeping up with their careers is an exercise in arts education in itself.
