Karl-Anthony Towns Videobombs Interview While Coach Discusses His Immaturity

Timing is everything.

This probably wasn't the best way to impress the guy who's in charge of your playing time.

While Kentucky coach John Calipari was telling ESPN about the immaturity of freshman Karl-Anthony Towns for getting a critical technical against LSU Tuesday, Towns videobombed the interview in a move that didn't seem so mature either.

For The Win noted that Calipari went on to praise his player, but upstaging the coach on television with a funny face doesn't seem like the best move.

According to Sports Illustrated, Towns' technical foul for hanging on the rim ignited a 14-0 LSU run. But Kentucky escaped with a 71-69 victory to remain unbeaten after Towns hit a shot that put the Wildcats ahead for good with 1:33 remaining.
