In May, the movie “Love & Friendship” debuted to nearly universal praise and now has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 98 percent. But as with any movie, seemingly less than perfect footage didn’t quite make the cut.
For the Blu-ray and DVD release of “Love & Friendship,” The Huffington Post obtained a deleted scene that director Whit Stillman deemed unworthy for the final version of his adaptation to the Jane Austen short novel, Lady Susan.
It will never be known if this roughly 30-second clip would have tanked the 98 percent reception for this movie (it wouldn’t have), but you can judge for yourself.
In this deleted scene, Kate Beckinsale and Chlöe Sevigny gossip about love while ascending a staircase.
