Not everyone gets to hobnob with royals, but celebrities are amongst the select few who have access to the regal stratosphere. Take Kate Hudson. She's never even met the folks from Buckingham Palace, but Prince William has literally slept in her house.
During an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," the actress explains how she was caught up in all of the royal baby excitement, despite having not actually met any of the parties involved. She did tell Leno, however, that she came close once:
"Prince William and Prince Harry actually stayed in our house in Colorado when they were kids. I remember we were all in LA, and they were staying with their mom at the time and we get this phone call at the house. The phone rang and somebody answered it and my dad gets to the phone. Sure enough, I think it was Prince William calling my dad to ask if he could use the ATVs -- the four-wheeler things, you know."
How cute is that? The future monarch of Britain actually took the time to ask permission. Hudson continued, "My dad, I remember when he got off the phone, he goes, 'That's a really well-raised boy.'" Hopefully, Will can instill these tip-top manners in baby Georgie. Who knows, maybe he'll eventually have a play date with Hudson's little one?
