A month after giving birth and Kate Middleton is already out at a marathon.
OK, she's not so superhuman that she's running the actual marathon (although sometimes we wonder...). The Duchess of Cambridge appeared alongside Prince William at her first formal post-baby appearance to kick off the Ring O' Fire ultra marathon in Anglesey.
Kate and Will showed up on a gloomy Friday morning to greet runners about to embark on the 131-mile, 3-day race, which circles the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales (where Kate and Will have been living while Will fulfills his RAF duties, which are due to end next month).
Kate's presence at the race came as a total surprise -- the new mum wasn't slated to make any formal appearances until September 12, when she and William will be honored at the Tusk Conservation Awards.
But there she was on Friday morning, in all her impossibly glowing glory. Five weeks after giving birth to Prince George, the duchess looked fresh-faced and composed as ever with her hair down and light makeup. As for her clothes, her style hasn't veered into the dreaded "mom" zone one bit: She chose an olive green Ralph Lauren blazer (OK, slightly mom-ish), skinny black cropped jeans by Paige Denim (definitely not mom-ish), her LK Bennett wedges and her trusty Zara top, which she was last seen wearing on a ski trip to the Alps.
Skinny pants, heels and a repeated top? Yeah, looks like Kate's style signatures haven't changed one bit. Check out images from Kate's big return below.
