Can you imagine if you were at the mall, just shopping and minding your own business, when Kate Middleton walked in with her puppy, Lupo? We're kind of hyperventilating just thinking about it.
So we hope there were inhalers and smelling salts on hand at London's Burlington Arcade yesterday, a covered corridor where shoppers convened for a charity event. As women milled around the shopping bazaar, the Duchess of Cambridge, Lupo and Lupo's aunt Pippa Middleton calmly made their way through the crowd and did some shopping of their own.
Kate's surprise appearance at the event might have been expected: the Christmas bazaar was held to benefit the Ormiston Children and Families Trust, which sends the majority of its funds directly to East Anglian families in need. As a patron of East Anglia's Children's Hospices, it made sense that Kate would attend the shopping event.
But still! Kate shopping with Pippa and Lupo? It's a rare sight to see. The royal was wearing her luxe LK Bennett fur-trimmed jacket with skinny jeans and knee-high suede boots, while Pippa kept the charitable theme going with her blue heart-print scarf. Lupo, unfortunately, was wearing nothing.
