If we weren't totally smitten with Kate Middleton and Wills before, Wednesday's appearance in Cambridge pretty much sealed the deal.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to their namesake city for the first time since accepting their royal titles, and naturally, they were greeted by cheering locals. The royal pair took the train -- they're just like us! -- from King's Cross in London, where they'd stayed overnight, presumably after Catherine's Natural History museum appearance on Tuesday evening. In Cambridge, they visited the Guildhall and viewed city artifacts, as well as met winners of community awards.
Style-wise, Catherine showed off her new bangs and glowing skin and opted for a soft pink Max Mara coat with an LK Bennett belt over a brown Max Mara dress and brown suede Aquatalia booties, according to one of our favorite Kate Twitter accounts. (Three cheers for ditching the LK Bennett pumps.)
The Daily Mail reports that Kate even chatted with an onlooker about her new hair:
Spectator Joanne Baldwin, 30, spoke to the Duchess during the walkabout. "I told her I loved her new hair style," she said.
She said: "I'm not sure about it. It's a bit windy today." I said, "don't worry, it looks lovely."
Even though Catherine suffered a hair malfunction in the blowing breeze (see slideshow), she still looks...
Flawless.
