Kate Middleton Getting Tutored On How To Be A Royal

Kate Gets Princess Lessons!

Maybe little girls around the world wouldn't all dream of being princesses if they knew there were lessons involved.

The Duchess of Cambridge has spent that past six months in private lessons, being tutored by experts on government, the arts and the media in order to attain "a thorough knowledge of the Establishment," reports the Telegraph.

Visiting St. James's Palace, such experts will teach the former Kate Middleton "how the State works" and topics relevant to the country's national institutions.

Alas, curtsying and delicate hand-waving don't sound like they are on the syllabus.

What is on the syllabus: independent study. The Telegraph quotes a royal source who said, "As well as meetings at St James’s Palace, the Duchess is spending time carrying out private research of her own."

We wonder if simply hanging out with her hubby counts as research -- he's got plenty of royal experience. Although he doesn't know much about makeup, which some might argue is another area Kate needs coaching in.

Royal fashion class, of course, she's already passed with flying colors.
