In the new movie "The Other Woman," Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Uptons' characters plot to get sweet, sweet revenge on the man who's cheating on them all.
At the L.A. premiere for the comedy on Monday, Mann and Upton each admitted they'd been cheated on before -- and both served up revenge stories that were almost as good as fiction.
Mann said she used a bit of trickery to get back at a boyfriend who cheated on her in her early twenties.
"I tricked him into telling me that he was cheating on me," the 42-year old actress told E!, "He told me, and I felt really bad about it, and he felt really guilty, so he bought me a bunch of presents."
"I still felt bad," she said, so the boyfriend "bought me more presents, and then I took his presents, and two weeks later, I broke up with him."
Boom. Co-star Kate Upton said her response to being betrayed was a bit simpler.
"I find the best revenge is to walk away, so that's what I've done," the 21-year-old supermodel said. "It's a little bit harder but it's better."
We can't argue with that, but we also can't help but love Mann's get-gifts-then-dump him approach. Kind of evil, but also so well played.
