After a six-month relationship, blond bombshell Kate Upton and dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy are no longer together, Us Weekly was first to report.
"They are really good friends still and speak all the time, but their schedules just made it too difficult and it fell apart," a source told Us. "[Chmerkovskiy] has a lot of respect for her, but it just wasn't working anymore."
The two went public with their romance in September, three months after they started seeing each other, notes the New York Daily News. The photogenic duo was spotted in New York City's West Village holding hands and smiling, confirming months of speculation.
In October, Chmerkovskiy told Us Weekly that the 21-year-old Sports Illustrated model is "an amazing person" and added that they have an "incredible time together."
The newly-single (but surely not for long) Upton made headlines earlier this week when the trailer for her movie, "The Other Woman," came out, in which she appears alongside Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann. The movie is set to hit theaters in 2014.
HuffPost reached to both Upton and Chmerkovskiy's reps for comment and will update the story once one comes through.
