Kathryn Ireland is known for creating beautiful interiors. One of her better known projects is the stunning transformation of Lindsay Lohan's place. So it's no surprise that her good taste would cover every inch of her own home, which is featured on Rue magazine's website this month.
The Los Angeles house is the epitome of Ireland's style -- a perfect balance of elegance and comfort thanks to Ireland's love for layers and mixed patterns. "It has a good sense of my European upbringing without being stuffy. It also has a southern sensibility. My children all grew up here," she said.
But her favorite place to be is actually outside of the stunning abode, in the gardens. Ireland made sure the gorgeous pool and lively plants were easily accessible from the main house. They're really just an extension, rather than an entirely separate space.
