Katie Holmes On 'Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23'? James Van Der Beek, Krysten Ritter Talk Ideal Role

Is Katie Holmes Headed To 'Don't Trust The B?'

Everyone wants a Joey (Katie Holmes)-Dawson (James Van Der Beek) reunion, and what better place than on Van Der Beek's new ABC comedy, "Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23?"

"I'd love to see her saucier side," Van Der Beek told TV Guide of a possible guest appearance from his former "Dawson's Creek" co-star. "I think it would be fun if she came on as herself, but a demented, bizarro version."

Krysten Ritter, who plays Chloe, the b---- herself, on "Don't Trust The B----," has a very concrete idea about who Holmes should play. "I want Katie Holmes to be my lesbian love interest," she said.

Before the first season of "Don't Trust The B----" premiered, HuffPost TV asked Van Der Beek about the chance of a "Dawson's Creek" reunion on the show. "I would love that. There aren't any in Season 1 so it would have to be Season 2. I think it'd be great," he said, adding that he was waiting for the series to get renewed before contacting Holmes, Michelle Williams, Joshua Jackson and any other Capeside alum. "I'll make sure we'll get to make more of these [episodes] and then I'll make some phone calls," Van Der Beek said.

Of course, Holmes and Van Der Beek could also work together again in a "Dawson's Creek" reunion. And while Williams (who played bad girl Jen Lindley on the show) has said she's absolutely up for it, Jackson (Pacey Witter) isn't quite as gung-ho about the idea.

"Well, we killed the show so I don't think that's ever going to happen," Jackson told THR. "Never say never. If I'm out of work for enough years, absolutely. We'll be old and gray and nasty by the time (that happens)."
