It looks like Katie Holmes will be a no-show at New York Fashion Week after all.
Following the puzzling realization that Holmes' fashion line, Holmes & Yang, was not listed on the official Fashion Week schedule for the upcoming February shows, Women's Wear Daily makes it official. "Katie Holmes will be sitting out next month’s New York Fashion Week," wrote the newspaper on Tuesday morning.
WWD doesn't mention why -- the statement was nonchalantly tossed into an otherwise unrelated blurb about Selena Gomez -- but it would appear that Holmes' plate is a little full. She just wrapped up her Broadway show, "Dead Accounts," and has signed on as the face and co-owner of Alterna Haircare.
Plus there's Suri -- there are always more zoos to visit, playgrounds to play on and ice cream cones to eat! That six-year-old maintains an exhausting social calendar.
So no Katie at Fall 2013 Fashion Week... which means what for Holmes & Yang? The Spring 2013 collection received tepid reactions, perhaps not enough to justify a second outing.

UPDATE: As expected, there are some more details. A rep from Holmes & Yang tell us that Katie will be presenting her collection during New York Fashion Week, but in "an intimate appointment only format this season." So no runway show, but Katie will be doing the Fashion Week thing.
