Katie Holmes Says Suri's Christmas List Has Her In A 'Panic'

Christmas is still weeks away, but Suri Cruise has a very detailed list for Santa already.

Katie Holmes appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," for an episode airing Monday, and chatted with the host about how her family is getting ready for the holiday season.

"We are getting ready for Christmas in my house and my daughter's 8 years old and she already has her Christmas list ready," she told DeGeneres. "It's written out -- she's very organized -- and I start to get a little bit of a panic because you cannot screw up talking to Santa. You cannot miss any item on that list because if you screw that up that’s years and years of hearing about it, and then probably therapy.”

Suri apparently wants a puppy this Christmas, plus some very specific accessories for the dog.

Holmes, who lives with her daughter in New York City, recently talked to People magazine about motherhood.

"You do the best you can," she said. "Some days you feel really good about yourself and some days you don't."
