The "Queen of Snapchat," Playboy model Katie May, has died at the age of 34. May had been hospitalized since Monday after suffering a stroke due to blockage in her carotid artery. She died on Thursday after being taken off life support.

TMZ reports May suffered a neck injury after a fall during a photoshoot last week, which could have led to the stroke. She reportedly got checked out for the pain and was released the same day but continued to have issues, even tweeting about the discomfort. May even sent out a final picture on Instagram on Monday:

The model's work has reportedly appeared in numerous magazines, but May was mostly known for her massive social media following. The model had around 2 million followers on Instagram.

May worked in PR before getting into modeling, and in a recent interview said her journey has had a lot of lessons, but "the most valuable would have to be as a single mother."

May is survived by a seven-year-old daughter.
