Katy Perry and John Mayer have finally gone public with their romance.
Perry and Mayer have been spotted getting cozy all over the tri-state area, with the "California Dreams" singer finally calling the musician her "boyfriend."
On Thursday night, the two got close at the Rolling Stones concert at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., E! News reported.
On Wednesday, they took in a showing of the Broadway adaptation of "A Christmas Story" in New York City. While mingling with the cast afterward, Perry allegedly introduced Mayer as her boyfriend and called him "baby," according to an Us Weekly source.
"You would think he was just a supportive boyfriend," the source told the magazine. "He let her be the star."
Perry first began dating the "Born and Raised" singer back in June. They ended things briefly in August but were spotted kissing again in September.
The on-again/off-again relationship is allegedly due to Mayer's wandering ways. “John just can’t commit, and he kept luring Katy back with promises that he was going to change, but then he didn’t," a source told RadarOnline.com. "Katy was pretty crazy about him, so she kept giving him another chance."
“John liked Katy, so he wanted to keep her in his life, but it just wasn’t up to Katy’s standards," the Radar source added. "She needs the guy to be on board 100 percent and she was sick of John disappearing for five days at a time, then booty calling her, then straightening up and treating her well, only to go back to his old behavior a few days later."
By the looks of it, the two have settled down. For now.
