Katy Perry looks breathtaking in the sun-drenched album art for her latest work, "PRISM," due out next week.
Gone are the candy props, multicolored wigs and glittering bodysuits. Perry has traded over-the-top sexy for a more naturally stunning style. The 28-year-old appears in the photos wearing minimal makeup and gauzy outfits as she poses in a butterfly-filled meadow. Sun fills the frames and a pink-tinged sky makes for a picturesque backdrop.

The look is an entirely new one for Perry, but, then again, "PRISM" offers entirely new insight into the mind of the pop superstar. The tracks touch upon love and loss, including her divorce from ex-husband Russell Brand. Throughout the creative process, she learned to get out of the "dark place" and "let the light in."
Her new album, which hits stores Oct. 22, isn't supposed to be another "Teenage Dream," her previous studio effort.
"I didn't want to do Teenage Dream 2.0," she explained to Billboard magazine. "Teenage Dream was highly conceptual, super-pop art. 'PRISM' is more organic, au naturale, vulnerable and honest, but still has the same amount of fun."
