Her hair may be a lovely shade of cerulean, but Katy Perry looked anything but blue on Friday night. The singer made her first red carpet appearance since the announcement of her separation from soon-to-be ex-husband, Russell Brand.
Perry was all smiles on the Las Vegas red carpet at club 1 OAK, promoting Haiti's public health organization, GiveLove.org and wearing a figure-hugging black minidress. But Perry isn't only giving back when it comes to her favorite charities, she's also spreading the love to her fans.
The "I Kissed A Girl" singer has been kissing her fair share of boys since her split from Brand -- but these kisses happen to be of the PG variety. On stage in the Philippenes, during the finale show of her "California Dreams" world tour, Perry plucked a lucky fan from the audience to receive a kiss on the cheek from the popstar, herself. But Perry did not appreciate the backlash she received for her display of affection.
"Btw, I have *kissed* 1 boy, picked randomly out of the audience, on the cheek as a part of my show for all 125 tour dates. Simmer down now," she tweeted.
And although Perry cannot hide from the media scrutiny of her every move, she can distance herself from Brand -- Perry recently unfollowed her ex on Twitter.
