Keith Olbermann broke a two-day Twitter silence on Monday, greeting his followers and promising them "more to come."
Olbermann had tinkered with the background on his Twitter page during the period immediately following his departure from MSNBC, but he was otherwise silent from Friday afternoon, just before he announced his exit, through Monday afternoon, when he said that he would issue his "first tweet" at 8 P.M. Eastern on Monday night.
That tweet read:
Citizens Of The Free World: Greetings! ........ (more to come) #FOK

The #FOK hashtag stands for "Friends Of Keith." Olbermann also referenced it in his next tweet, which appeared about ten minutes later:
My humble thanks to all Friends of Keith for the many kind words. The reports of the death of my career are greatly exaggerated #FOK
