Keith Olbermann is taking a vacation from "Countdown."
The MSNBC host announced Friday that he will be taking a "couple weeks vacation off" from his show.
In his place, Lawrence O'Donnell — who was named the host of the network's upcoming new 10PM show last month — will guest-host the show for the next two weeks.
Olbermann spent the first weekend of his vacation cheering on the Yankees.
Sunday night on Twitter, he mocked a user who implied there was something ominous about his two-week vacation.
"What a scandal! A vacation!" he tweeted.
