Rumor has it Kelly Clarkson is engaged ... but she's putting that rumor to rest.
The singer, 30, stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Nov. 20, and revealed that although she's not engaged, she's definitely going to marry her boyfriend of nine months, single dad Brandon Blackstock.
"We are not [engaged]," Clarkson laughed to Ellen DeGeneres, "But we are totally going to get married. We love each other. We are totally going to get married one day."
"He's got two children and I'm new," she added, "I mean he's got to put a ring on it at some point! But I'll wait it out."
As for what her dream wedding will be like, Clarkson admitted, "Honestly I've never been the girl to plan a wedding."
"We will totally, probably elope," she continued. "If we did [have a wedding], it would probably be low-key, but I don't know. Eloping sounds good."
One thing Clarkson knows for certain is that Blackstock, who is Reba McEntire's stepson, is "the guy" for her.
"This is going to sound like I'm making a joke, but it is so not. It is serious," she told DeGeneres when asked what she's thankful for. "I am not alone for the first time for Thanksgiving and Christmas –- and I am very happy."
"I've been praying for so long and he's so great," she added.
