Kelly Clarkson Reveals One Of Her Deepest, Darkest Secrets On 'Ellen'

"I'm a horrible human."

Kelly Clarkson is letting us in on one of the deepest secrets behind those hazel eyes.

On Tuesday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the “Since U Been Gone” singer played a game of “Celebrity Confessions” in the name of a good cause. All she had to do was confess something she’s never told anyone else, and in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, $10,000 would be donated toward breast cancer research.

After admitting that revealing something no one’s ever heard was hard for her, because she’s “kind of an open book,” Clarkson began telling a story of a date gone wrong.

“I’m almost afraid to tell you this,” Clarkson warned host Ellen DeGeneres. “I’m a horrible human. This is a horrible human story.”

Clarkson explained that she finally agreed to go on a date with a guy who had persistently visited the comedy club where she worked when she was 18, asking her to go out with him.

“We get there, and like, I am super self-deprecating. Like, I applaud it. I think it’s the funniest thing ever, to a point,” she said. “And he was 5’2” and I’m 5’3 1/2” and I was like, ‘Whatever, I obviously went out with you so it didn’t bother me.’ But he proceeded to talk about his height for, like, a solid hour. I withstood an hour!” she said, before revealing the worst part. “I went to the bathroom and I left.”

“I’m going straight to hell. I’m aware,” she said.

Don’t worry, Kelly. You said it yourself: “Everybody has a dark side.”
