Kelly Osbourne Weight Loss Secret: 'You Have To Get Happy First'

Kelly Osbourne Reveals Weight Loss Secret

Kelly Osbourne famously dropped 50 pounds after her run on "Dancing with the Stars," and she's kept it off.

The 27-year-old has spoken about her impressive weight loss before, but now she reveals her secret to In Touch magazine -- and it doesn't involve any crazy diet.

"People think I lost weight and then got happy, but that's not how it works. You have to get happy first," she told the magazine. "I made a life change, and the weight loss was an amazing perk."

Of course, losing the weight did require changing her eating habits and exercising:

“I do up to half an hour of cardio, and I also do circuit training, yoga or Pilates — I mix it up,” the "Fashion Police" co-host revealed, adding that as for her diet she eats pretty healthy and allows herself one cheat day each week to indulge.

In the past, Osbourne has opened up about her weight loss, which proved to be an emotional experience.

"I call myself an FFP: former fat person," she wrote in Glamour's May issue. "And when you're an FFP, you will always see in yourself what people used to bully you for. Even now I don't consider myself skinny, but I have put a lot of hard work into my body over the years, and in the process, I've really learned to love myself."
