Kendall and Kylie Jenner could easily feel overshadowed by their older sisters' fame. But the two youngest Jenner siblings keep up with the Kardashians just fine. At 16 and 14, respectively, Kendall and Kylie have the poise and style of seasoned fashion pros. We got a sneak peak of their joint cover of Seventeen's September issue and the scoop on family fights, their potential upcoming spin-off show and relationship rumors.
Since the Jenners made their first TV appearance in 2007, they've been on the edges of the media fanfare that surrounds their older sisters. But now, they're ready to take center stage.
According to Kendall, "We do what we want to do. We're just like, 'Let's make it happen! That sounds so fun!'"
What have the Jenners been having fun with lately? For starters, the sisters work as Seventeen's West Coast fashion contributors, for which they select their favorite trends every month. They're also co-authoring a sci-fi YA novel about a pair of sisters 200 years in the future.
Considering how much time they spend working together, a few cat fights here and there wouldn't be surprising. But the sisters couldn't be closer. "Kylie is my best friend; we have so much fun. I also like working with her because she makes me more comfortable around people and I feel like she brings out the best in me," Kendall explains.
But despite their best efforts, it isn't always easy to live a typical teen life when cameras follow your every move. Kylie set the record straight on rumors that she's dating Cody Simpson.
"Cody and I are just good friends. That's it. But we can say that as much as we want and people will still listen to gossip," she says.
