Kendall Jenner: 'Keeping up With the Kardashians' 'Brought Us Everything We Have'

Kendall Jenner: Lamar Odom 'Is Really Good At Giving Guy Advice'

At just 17, Kendall Jenner has a modeling career, a clothing line, a fashion-contributor gig at Seventeen and even a book deal in the works.

And she knows that what made that all possible is, of course, the reality series that made her family a household name. However, in an interview with Cosmopolitan in the magazine's May issue, Kendall says that she could use a break from the spotlight now and then.

“The show [Keeping up With the Kardashians] brought us everything we have, and I realize that, but sometimes I just want to be left alone and be a normal kid for like five minutes," she says. "That’s tough when the paparazzi are chasing you.”

In fact, Jenner says her own reality spinoff is "not happening," as modeling is her "number one priority – one hundred percent."

Jenner also opens up about who advises her when it comes to matters of the opposite sex. (In January, Kendall told HuffPost Celebrity that "Being flirty with one of my close friends" was her dating deal-breaker.)

Turns out, she goes to sister Khloe Kardashian's husband, Lamar Odom. "He is really good at giving guy advice," she tells Cosmo. "He always tells me to know my worth and never accept less than I deserve.”

It sounds as if Kendall has a strong support system. In the April issue of Harper's Bazaar, she discussed the guidance she gets from her older siblings.

"Khloe is like my second mom, so whenever my little sister [Kylie] and I are fighting or we're fighting with our parents, we call Khloe," she told Bazaar, adding that she turns to Kourtney when she wants the "cold, hard truth, even if it will make you cry."

She continued, "Whatever you're dealing with, if you want to talk to her, she'll be very realistic."
