Kendall Jenner Talks Weight: Reality Star Says She's Criticized For Being Too Skinny

Kendall Jenner Is Tired Of Being Called Too Skinny

Kendall Jenner has turned her reality TV fame into a successful modeling career. Though it's a career where one is largely judged on their appearance, the 17-year-old doesn't take criticism about her body lightly.

"I'm constantly criticized for being too skinny," the teenage model declared. "I'm trying to gain weight but my body won't let it happen. What people don't understand is that calling someone too skinny is the same as calling someone too fat. It's not a nice feeling."

Fans of the Kardashians' reality series have watched Jenner grow up before their very eyes, and though growing up isn't easy when you aren't doing it on national television, the teenager says she has a strong support system in place.

"I go to them for different things," she says of her famous sisters. "Khloe is like my second mom, so whenever my little sister [Kylie] and I are fighting or we're fighting with our parents, we call Khloe."

Jenner revealed that she turns to Kourtney when she wants the "cold, hard truth, even if it will make you cry."

"Whatever you're dealing with, if you want to talk to her, she'll be very realistic," she said of the eldest Kardashian sister.

And as for her sister Kim, Jenner describes the mom-to-be as "super smart and really tech-savvy," and says, "She's been through a lot, so we can go to Kim with anything and she'll have literally the best advice."

Jenner also took the opportunity to speak out about reports that her mother and manager, Kris Jenner, exploits her family and pushed her family into show business against their wishes, telling the magazine that she "always" has a say in what she does and is ultimately calling the shots when it comes to her career.
