Kenneth Kuban Allegedly Posts Craigslist Ads, Sends Men To Ex-Girlfriend's Home For Sex

Man Posts Fake Craigslist Sex Ad To Get Back At Ex: Feds

A Virginia man is accused of posting phony Craigslist ads that invited strangers to head to his ex-girlfriend's home for sex.

Library of Congress employee Kenneth Kuban, 61, was arrested Friday, according to an affidavit obtained by The Smoking Gun.

Kuban and his ex-girlfriend -- identified only as "L.M" -- ended a six-month relationship in 2011. After the relationship's demise, L.M. was granted a restraining order against Kuban.

In recent months, however, officials say Kuban has begun to harass his ex once again by posting a series of fraudulent ads in the "Casual Encounters" section of Craigslist.

An ad from March 2013, read:

I'm a senior lady who is looking for some fun
And adventure in my life!!
Would like to meet a gentleman in his 50's that is
Hung and that can give me some pleasuring.

When interested suitors replied, Kuban allegedly wrote back, pretending to be L.M., and directed them to her home address.

The Craigslist posts have resulted in L.M., now 64, having to call law enforcement to her Marshall, Va. home "frequently, often several times a day, to chase away the men who have been enticed by these personal ads," the affidavit states.

She has also installed security cameras and gates to deal with the "constant flow" of randy men.

Kuban has been charged with felony stalking.

Smoking Gun commenter Sean Roaney is nostalgic for times of simpler revenge tactics. "This is a particularly nasty way of getting even with someone who doneya wrong. Whatever happened to the time-honored traditions of dropping a flaming bag of poo on their doorstep, or calling their work and saying you're the CVS pharmacy and their Valtrex is ready for pick up?" Roaney writes.

Chin up, Roaney. People are still getting revenge in old-fashioned ways.

Just take Brenda Schumann, a Florida woman who allegedly pooped on the floor in retaliation after she spotted her husband in bed with another woman.

In a less messy revenge scheme, Angela Potter of New Zealand got back at her ex -- and made a profit -- by selling the locations of his secret fishing holes.
