Kermit The Frog Rocks Out To LCD Soundsytem (VIDEO)

WATCH: Muppets Rock Out, Make Out, And Blackout To LCD Soundsystem

The beginning of Javier Douglas's unofficial video for LCD Soundsystem's "Dance Yrself Clean" is something of a revelation--James Murphy sounds a heck of a lot like Kermit the Frog. Though this is not the first time Jim Henson's most famous Muppet croaked out some LCD jams, this cut is oddly suited to Kermit's vocal stylings. Whereas his first dalliance with LCD Soundsystem saw him crooning the soft ballad "New York, I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down," Kermit rocks full throttle in this video. Not only that, but he brings along some friends.

Joined by fellow Muppets Animal and Miss Piggy and a baby version Cookie Monster from "Sesame Street," Kermit and crew live out the rock star lifestyle. They deliver a rousing rooftop performance (a la The Beatles and U2) to a crowd of bystanders in the British town of Brighton, hit the club, make out, and get drunk on the beach. It's peculiar to see these lovable childhood puppets enjoy themselves with such abandon, but Kermit and company do a fantastic job of dancing themselves clean. After nine minutes, these Muppets prove they have more rock and roll swagger than most humans.
