"Scandal" actress Kerry Washington, an outspoken advocate for domestic abuse survivors, is one of the many people who has spoken out about the horrifying video released Monday which shows a South Carolina school officer grabbing a student from her chair, knocking her to the floor and dragging her across the classroom.

Washington tweeted her reaction Tuesday morning using the hashtag #AssaultAtSpringValleyHigh.

Washington joins Octavia Spencer, Orlando Jones, Cher, Olivia Wilde and other celebrities who are fuming over the incident.

"I can't unsee what i just saw," Spencer tweeted Monday afternoon.

We've reached out to Washington's publicist to tell us more about her reaction to the video and will update if we hear back.

The officer (seen in the video below) has been identified as Deputy Ben Fields and has been placed on administrative duty, a spokesman for the Sheriff's Department told News 19.
