Ke$ha Thanks Fans For Support From Rehab, Asks For Their Teeth As Well

Just after the new year, Ke$ha checked into a rehab center to deal with an eating disorder, reportedly brought on by her producer's criticism. Now she is reaching out to her fans to thank them for their support during this difficult period of her life.

The pop star likely has limited communication within the facility, so she asked a good friend to pass a few messages along to her fans. Tweets sent out from Ke$ha's account explain the situation.

Ke$ha's friend added a few more updates from the "Die Young" songstress:

Fans and animals alike can now sleep well knowing that Ke$ha is getting all of their encouragement -- unless they're brainstorming ways to fulfill her next request. It's an odd one.

The singer's friend sent one more tweet 10 hours later asking fans to donate a certain body part to Ke$ha's latest art project.

This special request might be slightly creepy and bizarre, but it isn't the first time Ke$ha has crafted with human teeth. In 2012, the singer asked her followers to send her their teeth and she got a shockingly positive response.

"I asked for them to send me their teeth and I got, like, over 1000 human teeth," she told BANG Showbiz, at the time. "I made it into a bra top, and a headdress, and earrings and necklaces. I've worn it out."

So, who is ready to see what she comes up with this time?

UPDATE: From the sounds of it, Ke$ha is going to have to come up with a new artistic medium. The treatment center where Ke$ha is staying tells TMZ that they "can't accept human remains." This means Ke$ha's tooth project is being shut down — at least until she is released from the center.

The center's rep told TMZ, "There is always a risk that it could be of bio-hazardous material so we are not able to bring in anything that's real." Apparently, fans are allowed to send in all the fake teeth their hearts desire.
