Kevin Hart is winning the comedy game this year.
Forbes recently looked at comedy’s top earners and found that Hart is the highest-paid comic earning $87.5 million between June 2015 and June 2016. Hart’s earnings end the ten-year reign of Jerry Seinfeld ― who netted $43.5 million ― as the genre’s cash king.
Forbes credited Hart’s successful “What Now?” tour, which he’s called his last, and string of box office films as contributors to his top-billing. Hart was also named the sixth richest entertainer on Forbes Celebrity 100 list.
Among the list of other notable highest-paid comedians are Amy Schumer, who is the first woman to made the list at number four with earning of $17 million, and Dave Chappelle at number six ($13 million).
