'Kick-Ass 2' Trailer: Chloe Moretz Still Curses, This Time With Help From Jim Carrey (VIDEO)

WATCH: Chloe Moretz Gets NSFW With 'Kick-Ass 2'

Chloe Grace Moretz was just 11 years old when she signed on to play the foul-mouthed Hit Girl in Matthew Vaughn's "Kick Ass." The role won Moretz both acclaim and notoriety; after all, it's not every day that you can hear a child utter the c-word.

Moretz is back in the role that made her a star in "Kick-Ass 2," but times have changed: For starters, she's 16 now, not 11; there's also her c-word of choice, which is now the other c-word. Otherwise, all systems are go for "Kick-Ass 2," which reunites Moretz's Hit Girl with Aaron Taylor-Johnson's title character for crime-fighting mayhem. This time, Christoper Mintz-Plasse is the main bad guy (his name is unprintable, but it starts with "mother" and ends in "er"), with Jim Carrey filling the void left by Nicolas Cage as the only adult among the superhero teens. (Carrey's accent can only be described as interesting.)

Jeff Wadlow replaces Vaughn as director on "Kick-Ass 2," but Vaughn is still involved as producer. Watch the NSFW trailer for "Kick-Ass 2" above; Universal recently slotted it on the calendar for Aug. 16.
