Kid Rock knows times are tough for many of his fans, so he's going to some eyebrow-raising lengths to ensure his upcoming U.S. summer tour tickets are affordable to everyone. Concert-goers will be able to scoop up tickets for $20 a seat in all sections (reserved seats and lawn) on his 2013 summer tour stops.

Metro Detroit fans will be able to get in on the action August 9-11, when he plays with rock legends ZZ Top at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston. Tickets for those shows go on sale April 14 at 10 a.m., according to the Detroit Free Press.

"We're going to throw the biggest and best party ever, with prices across the board that are reasonable and transparent. No hidden fees, no gimmicks," Rock said.

His fans will be able to get the budget tickets through Walmart and Live Nation box office locations. Those who buy through Ticketmaster or other outlets, however, may have to pay additional service charges and parking fees. Rock will also be using paperless tickets when possible and lowering prices on beer and merchandise. Uncle Kracker and Kool & The Gang will be playing select dates on the tour.
