Kiernan Shipka's Fashion Critique: Sally Sizes Up Her "Mad Men" Co-Stars' Style (VIDEO)

WATCH: Kiernan Shipka Sizes Up Her "Mad Men" Costars' Style

Pint-sized style icon Kiernan Shipka came to chat with us on HuffPost Live today, and since she's often on our best-dressed list, talk turned quickly to fashion. The actress plays sassy Sally Draper on "Mad Men," so it's only natural that the 13-year-old has developed a '60s sensibility with her wardrobe choices.

Of her own character, Shipka says: "I love how Sally's fashion has changed over the years, and you get a fashion history lesson, which is cool." She goes on to analyze the looks of her fellow female costars, calling January Jones "edgy," Christina Hendricks and Elisabeth Moss "classic" and Jessica Paré "very daring." Shipka insists the diversity among actresses' outfits "represents how characters are on the show [are] all so different... in work and life." Kiernan attributes costume genius to the show's designer, Janie Bryant, and claims that "Mad Men" has spearheaded a retro revival in modern culture.

Off-screen, Kiernan endorses Oscar de la Renta's designs, as his gowns are "beautifully crafted" and "transcend time." She professes her love for old-Hollywood silhouettes and identifies her fashion icons: Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn.

So when can we expect a Kiernan Shipka clothing line? Unfortunately, fashion production doesn't seem to be in the teenager's near future: "I just don't have the talent of sewing," she admits. Though she did try to make a dress once: "It took me about one year... And by the time I made it, I had already grown out of it. So I wouldn't really consider it a successful thing."
