The lead singer of The Killers doesn't want memories of the championship hoops team from Vegas to merely stay in Vegas. Brandon Flowers rocked a red varsity jacket adorned with the names of all five starting players on UNLV's 1989-1990 national championship team during a concert at the Final Four.

The Killers, who hail from Las Vegas, were performing at the March Madness Music Festival coinciding with the Final Four in Arlington, Texas. Their performance was televised between the pair of national semifinals and the jacket seemed to steal the show. Not only did it get "UNLV" trending on Twitter but it also got the attention of at least one member of that fabled Runnin' Rebels squad.

With Greg Anthony starting at point guard, UNLV routed Duke in the national championship game of the 1990 NCAA Tournament.
