Kim Kardashian Lands 'American Dad' Role Voicing An Alien

Kim Kardashian Lands New TV Gig

Kim Kardashian has landed herself a new television gig that has nothing to do with reality: voicing an alien on the Fox animated series "American Dad."

Entertainment Weekly first reported that Kardashian snagged the "American Dad" role on Tuesday. The 32-year-old reality star is set to voice a furry alien character whose spaceship crashes to Langley Falls, Va., and becomes the love interest of Roger (voiced by Seth MacFarlane).

Fox confirmed the report to E! News, although there is no date set for her voice appearance yet.

The new mama has been getting back to work recently since the June birth of her baby girl, North West. On Sept. 18, Kardashian shared photos from the set of her own show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," with her 9.9 million Instagram fans. She and her family were apparently filming an early Christmas episode.

Although Kardashian is not necessarily known for her acting chops, the E! starlet has had some acting experience. She has had roles in "Drop Dead Diva," "30 Rock" and "CSI: NY." She also appeared in Tyler's Perry's "Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor" earlier this year.

"Temptation" star Robbie Jones said Kardashian is joy to work with.

"She's a great person and a wonderful personality," Jones told MTV News in April. "She was amazing and I think a lot of people were really surprised with her work because she really held her own and she really brought it home. And she was really funny and I think she did a fantastic job."
