Kim Kardashian Wedding Dress Replicas Will Still Be Sold At David's Bridal (POLL)

TOO LATE TO STOP

Replicas of Kim Kardashian's famous wedding dress are set to be sold in David's Bridal stores.

Um, David's Bridal, this is kind of awkward, but have you read the Internet at all this week?

They have, but it's too late to stop production on the line of Kimitation dresses, which are due in stores in February, reports Page Six.

The collection, which is based on the three dresses Kim wore for her televised nuptials to soon-to-be ex-husband Kris Humphries on Aug. 20, includes "a 'Kim-inspired tulle ball gown' similar to her dress for the ceremony, and a 'mermaid gown' from the reception." Vera Wang, who designed Kim's real dresses, paired up with David's to create the budget versions, which are set to retail for $1,500, the Wall Street Journal says.

A Page Six reporter asked David's Bridal if the dresses would be pulled from stores, but it looks like they'll still be hanging on the racks come February:

David's Bridal executive VP Brian Beitler told us, "The entire White by Vera Wang spring 2012 collection will be available exclusively at David’s Bridal stores next season."

We're guessing the number of brides lining up to tie the knot in a dress inspired by a 72-day-long marriage is going to be few. Tell us what you think in our poll below:
