Kit Harington Says Jon Snow's 'Game Of Thrones' Cloak 'Hasn't Been Washed In 5 Years'

You Really Don't Want To Smell Jon Snow's Giant Cloak

Jon Snow may look seriously dashing in the enormous black cloak he rocks on "Game of Thrones," but according to actor Kit Harington, you really don't want to smell it.

Harington dropped by HuffPost Live on Monday along with director James Kent to discuss their new film "Testament of Youth," and host Alonya Minkovski couldn't let him go without squeezing in a few "Game of Thrones" questions, including what the signature cloak is made of. Harington isn't sure, but he does know that it hasn't been clean since he wore it for the first time.

"It hasn't been washed in five years. None of the clothes have properly been washed in five years, which is authentic," he said.
