Korean Baseball Fans’ Coordinated Cheer Puts America To Shame

Lights, camera, play ball.

In America, baseball fans do “the wave” between innings. In South Korea, they do coordinated, choreographed singalongs to rock anthems, using the lights on their cell phones for added flair.

At the Doosan Bears’ stadium in Seoul, spectators cheered and harmonized to Dr. Core 911’s “Rock to the Rhythm” at the team’s 13-2 win last Saturday.

While the synchronized light show may not have had any affect on the Bears’ above-par performance, we sure wouldn’t mind seeing the MLB take up this tradition to spice up what are often long, flagging summer nights at the ballpark. “Living on a Prayer,” anyone?
