Kris Bryant On Cubs Grievance: I'm 'Going To Bat For The People After Me'

The NL Rookie of the Year catches up with HuffPost Live.

It has been a sensational start to a much anticipated career for 23-year-old Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant. The Las Vegas native earned National League Rookie of the Year honors after amassing a .275 batting average to go along with 26 home runs and 99 RBI, both tops among all rookies. The Cubs meanwhile, made a trip to the NLCS for the first time since 2003.

Bryant joined me on HuffPost Live to discuss his tenure as a Lyft driver in Chicago, how he would handle domestic violence in the clubhouse and why he filed a service-time grievance against the Cubs. Has it impacted his relationship with the organization and how he's perceived? Watch the clip below and check out Bryant's full HuffPost Live interview here.
