Kris Jenner Talk Show, 'Kris,' Will Premiere In Summer 2013

Businesswoman, author and Kardashian momager Kris Jenner can soon count talk show host among her many titles.

Fox Television Stations and 20th Century Fox Television announced Monday that Jenner will host her own talk show, "Kris," debuting this summer on Fox stations in New York, Los Angeles and other select cities, Us Weekly reported.

"Kris" will offer "a daily jolt of celebrity guests, fashion & beauty trends; plus a mix of lifestyle topics -- all through the distinctive and unpredictable perspective of Kris Jenner," according to a press release obtained by the Los Angeles Times.

Fox will produce a six-week test of the Jenner's one-hour talk show, according to The New York Times. The network has a penchant for summer test-runs, previewing both "The Wendy Williams Show" back in 2008 and Bethenny Frankel's "Bethenny" last summer.

Fox executives are confident about adding Jenner to the talk show circuit.

"The latest adventures, successes and disappointments surrounding the extensive Kardashian and Jenner family fill entertainment magazines and create daily online headlines," Stephen Brown, executive vice president of development and programming for 20th Century Fox Television, told the LA Times.

"At the center of this fascinating empire is Kris Jenner -- a dedicated mom and a successful business woman," he continued. "Whether offering real advice to her family or sharing personal moments with viewers, Kris is honest, compelling, entertaining, and unscripted -- all excellent qualities for a daytime talk show host."

The Kardashian matriarch is excited about the new opportunity.

"This is something I have wanted to do all my life so it's definitely a dream come true!" Jenner, who will serve as an executive producer on the talk show, told Deadline. "I can't wait for this new adventure to begin."

Jenner will be the second in the Kardashian clan to try her hand at hosting. Khloe Kardashian joined "X Factor" Season 2 as a host alongside Mario Lopez. She hopes to be invited back for Season 3.
