Just when we thought Robert Pattinson would never forgive Kristen Stewart for cheating on him with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, it appears their beloved romance might live on.
Reportedly, the estranged "Twilight" co-stars reunited in Los Angeles over the weekend of Sept. 15., and friends of the pair tell People they "think they'll be a couple again."
And sources reveal to Us Weekly that 22-year-old Stewart and 26-year-old Pattinson "had a dramatic makeup" and are allegedly getting back together. But, are the rumors true?
News of a reconciliation seems to strike every day, with reports surfacing that the former couple are quietly meeting up and talking over the phone. “She begged to meet face-to-face so they could talk. It was obvious Kristen was getting through to Rob and he has agreed to see her,” a friend told Look magazine a few weeks ago. “In fact, he admitted that it must be worse for her because she’s not just dealing with heartbreak, but being portrayed as a villain, while he gets all the sympathy.”
So, it sounds like the British hunk finally agreed to an initial meeting with his former flame and has since met up with her numerous times to fix what she has broken. A source tells Us Weekly, "They're working it out. He's still in love with her."
But a friend tells People that moving on is "easier said than done ... and clearly harder than expected" for Pattinson, who was shocked when his three-year relationship with Stewart fell apart due to her "momentary indiscretion."
